Softening Systems
The softening systems are generally used to soften iron- and manganese-free drinking water. They remove the hardness formers such as calcium and magnesium ions from the water via ion exchange (cation exchanger).

The softening systems with a central control valve generally consist of one or two softening containers which are filled with ion exchange material. They have a central valve with which they can be operated fully automatically.
Depending on the application, different versions are used:
