Double pressure increase

Ready-to-connect double booster system

The pressure-boosting systems are used to increase the mains pressure to a constant pressure, e.g., in front of a softening or other water treatment plant. By adjusting the frequency of the standard built-in frequency converter, the pressure boosting systems keep the selected operating pressure constant, even with changing flow requirements. The FU operation is energy-saving, quiet, and particularly gentle on the system due to a soft start-up. With increased water consumption, the second horizontal centrifugal pump is automatically switched on. As a result, twice the nominal conveying capacity is available.

The ready-to-connect double booster system consists of two multi-stage, self-priming horizontal centrifugal pumps made of stainless steel 1.4031 (V2A), a diaphragm pressure accumulator made of stainless steel, a pressure sensor, and a pressure gauge, and each pump consists of an integrated check valve and two shut-off ball valves. The pump station is mounted on a stainless steel base frame with height-adjustable feet for leveling.

The integrated controller includes two FUs as well as a display for operational readiness, operation, and malfunction via LED and switches the pump on depending on the pressure and turns it off when the consumer is closed. The intelligent control system avoids pressure surges in the system, and the pressure sensor ensures dry running protection. In the event of a fault, an automatic reset takes place.

Alternatively, instead of the pressure-dependent regulation, a volume flow-dependent regulation of the pump is also possible (an on-site signal for volume flow is required).
